Tasting Notes: Caramel • Wafer • Lemon • Brown Sugar • Walnut • Creamy Chocolate

Nestled high in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas, close to the Guatemalan border, this beautifully balanced washed coffee showcases everything we love about Mexican specialty coffee. Sweet, comforting and incredibly easy to drink, it opens with rich caramel and creamy chocolate before delicate citrus brightness and walnut notes add complexity to every cup.

Grown between 1,500–1,900 metres above sea level, this coffee is produced by smallholder farming families who have cared for these mountains for generations. Coffee is more than a crop here—it’s a way of preserving their land, supporting their communities and passing on a tradition of exceptional coffee production to future generations.

Each producer carefully manages every stage of cultivation and harvest, resulting in a coffee that truly reflects the unique climate, biodiversity and heritage of Motozintla.
