Fresh Coffee, Roasted in Kent – The Start of GoatHerd Coffee’s Blog

Welcome to the GoatHerd Coffee blog — a new space where we’ll share what we’ve learned (and are still learning) about the world of coffee. From brewing tips and gear guides to stories from the farm and the roastery, this will be your go-to spot for everything fresh coffee.

So, who are we? GoatHerd Coffee began with a simple frustration: most coffee on the shelves just wasn’t fresh enough. We started roasting at home, then in a bike shed, before moving into our roastery on a working farm in Wouldham, Kent. What began as small experiments quickly grew into something bigger — fuelled by curiosity, care, and a love for great coffee.

We roast daily, in small batches, and ship across the UK with free Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery. Every bag is ethically sourced, freshly roasted, and designed to help you brew your best cup.

This blog is our chance to take you behind the scenes — to talk about origins, roast styles, brew methods, and maybe even a few coffee myths along the way.

Thanks for reading — and stay tuned. There’s plenty more coffee to come.
